01Who is SOLIS UPNR for?
Balancing service providers managing a portfolio of production units, their own or those of third-party producers, including under PPA contracts, who need to schedule them and bid them on the markets.
02How is the production forecast calculated?
The forecast is calculated for each plant according to its technology and the availability of production schedules: for programmable plants the schedules uploaded by producers on the THOR portal are used, for the others native models or forecasts from external providers.
03How do SOLIS UPNR, THOR and ERGObid relate to each other?
THOR is the portal where producers share master data, schedules and unavailability; SOLIS UPNR uses this data to forecast generation and aggregate it into zonal production units; ERGObid takes the schedules to the MGP, MI and XBID markets.
